Nick Bender is a versatile film, television, commercial, stage and voiceover actor. He is a Chicago native currently living and working in Los Angeles.
You may recognize him as the red-shorted ‘bro’ from Geico’s ‘Flextacular: More, More, More’ campaign. His favorite brocabulary words are brotato chip, brorrito and Teddy Brosevelt. He also appeared in commercial spots for Crystal Geyser Water and TurboTax.
Notable on-camera credits include a series regular role in the Chicago Emmy nominated webseries, THE RENT; a series regular role in the hit webseries, MISSPELLED; the lead role in the feature horror film, MURDER FOR PLEASURE; the lead role in a Malibu International Film Festival promo, ENDANGERED SPECIES; and a lead role in the award winning short film, HYPNOCUS POCUSED.
A working voiceover artist, Bender voiced a national radio commercial for DeVry University. He has also voiced regional television commercials and web videos for major companies including Mario Tricoci, Cricket Wireless, Eclipse Gum, Universal Technical Institute and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.
Notable awards include the honor of earning the John Belushi/Second City Memorial Theatre Scholarship in 2005 – 2006. He has won numerous Best Actor awards for his work on the short films, HYPNOCUS POCUSED and GARBAGE DAY!, as well as for his portrayal of Michael in the theatrical production of TWO ROOMS.
